Silk cotton trees
I have been taking regular walks around the rain water reservoir built at Hauz Khas in the 13th century, it is there that we chanced upon a lovely grove of silk cotton trees that are very special. In a few weeks these bare trees will be full of red/orange flowers.
These couple of paintings were put up at our recent group art show.

Lyrical and lovely!
Beautiful work, Prashant!
Wonderful work! Wish I had the patience to work with watercolor. What are "silk cotton trees" exactly? Where else do they grow?
Cheers,
Heidi
