Sunday

How could I not be grateful for these days spend in Delhi? Great waterfalls of magenta bougainvillea gushed at us on our 7 km walk around JNU this evening. I stood under a patch of silk cotton trees at Hauz Khas, bathed in moonlight ...'twas a celebration. And watching peacocks draped on bare trees at twilight was a blessing.

Elsewhere and back again

It has been a most enchanting episode of moonlit walks on the beach, creative release and relaxed time spent in the company of friends.

Going Elsewhere

Headed off for a few days to magical Elsewhere. Here are a few pages from my sketchbook.

Pondering once again

Silk cotton trees

I have been taking regular walks around the rain water reservoir built at Hauz Khas in the 13th century, it is there that we chanced upon a lovely grove of silk cotton trees that are very special. In a few weeks these bare trees will be full of red/orange flowers.
These couple of paintings were put up at our recent group art show.

Greetings from India

I cannot believe that I hadn't a clue what beauteous monuments reside in our backyard here in Delhi. So this morning I stepped out a did a watercolour of Hauz Khas, a 13th century place of learning, now in ruin, by a placid reservoir. The light was sublime, with parakeets perched on lonesome trees.
So here are some watercolours.
It's good to be back.
Love,
Prash

Dear New Year

Season's greetings!
It's been a wild and enchanting year as usual. This life never ceases to baffle me.
Hope you have a blessed new year. May you open the doors and windows of your soul, and partake in each new moment to it's fullest.
I should be heading to warmer climes soon, I can feel it in my bones.
Love, peace and happiness,
Prash

My life of late (as it snows outside my window)

So here's the view from level 2 at the MoMA, breakfast at Pastis, a bit of our journey back to Toronto from NY, and my life of late.
Much love,
Prash
