My sacred spot

Zigzagged down the hill to the valley below Arte Studio Ginestrelle. A few mountain streams meet to form the beginnings of the Tescio River. I love it here.

Olive picking

We went olive picking today at Adria and Enzo Merli's olive grove at Ponte San Vittorino, Assisi.

A fog descended when we got there, and so all was shrouded in a silver mist.

Eremo delle Carceri

Spent the most magical morning at the Carceri hermitage where St. Francis went to meditate in the cave of that tranquil spot. It was a beautiful 5 km walk up Monte Subasio to the hermitage, and it was blissful once I got there. Sublime peace, beautiful birds amidst the 

Holm oaks and it felt like a blessing!
