Berlin

I'm just back from a wonderful week in Berlin. My old friend Allen Shaw lives there, and I was connecting with him after 10 years! Allen and I were batch mates at the National Institute of Design, and studied together for 5 years. He is a fantastic watercolour artist, and you can see his work here. So during my time there we sketched a lot, visited his studio, and bicycled around town. I also got to meet other old friends, and connect with new ones. Here are a few images from my trip there.

Canadian Transcontinental

I had always wanted to travel to the west coast of Canada by train and I finally did it this summer. I took the train across Canada from Toronto to Vancouver, which was a magical joyride for the soul! These are some of the watercolours that I did while documenting this incredible journey.
