Bandhavgarh, Madhya Pradesh

I got lucky in Bandhavgarh, to see tigers at such close quarters in the wild. One memory that I will not forget was us getting off our Jeep, to climb up some steps to see a 10th century statue of a reclining Vishnu in the forest, and just then 3 tiger cubs walked out, right next to the statue perfectly posed in all their glory. One tiger cub started walking towards us and we had to inch our way back to the Jeeps. It was incredible!
